Goodreads

1Guess what?  I finally joined goodreads.  So, be friends with me!  My name on there is J.T. Oldfield.

A question for book bloggers: do you put your whole review of books in there or just part?

I’m going to put all of my reviews in there over the next several days.

So far it’s allowed me to keep track of books I’m going to read for challenges in one place!

Thanks to Nicole for finally getting me to join.

I used to put my whole review in also-now I just put in a HTML link to my review-goodreads is a great resource-lots of groups and I lot of people keep their TBR lists on them

I generally put part of my review there–I usually omit the book summary part and just put in my personal reactions to the book.

I love using Goodreads for keeping track of the books that I want to read. I usually put the long version of my review on my blog and then copy/paste the most relevant parts to Goodreads, Amazon, and LibraryThing. For those, I leave out the summary portion and any personal randomness.

I use to be a member, but stopped at the end of 2008. I placed my entire review.

I’m on LibraryThing, not GoodReads. I submit a partial review, with a link to the full review on my blog …

I hope that you are loving goodreads! I think it’s great for keeping track of books that you’ve read and that you want to read. I just joined, though, about 3 months ago. I’ve added you as a friend. :-)
I’ve always put full reviews, but I like the idea of partial reviews with a link to my blog. . .I might look into doing that in the future.

Okay, I lied – I tried to add you but couldn’t find you.

I’m just on LibraryThing too but I usually post most of my review and then a link.

I love the ‘to read’ shelf. I’d never keep track of what books I want to read if I didn’t have Goodreads.

I post a whole review. I enjoy reading others’ reviews so I just post it all.
