Read-A-Thon: Post the Fourth: Something BIG Is Coming

amazon_boxThat’s right.  We interrupt this Read-A-Thon post to give you this picture.

What is it?

Well, it’s my kitten, Apollo, aged one month since last time you saw him.  Perhaps you recall that the last time I posted a picture of him, it was associated with a give away.

You might also note the logo on the side of the box.

Speaking of give aways, I think I’ll take this opportunity to announce the winners of my shelf-cleaning give away.

But first back to the read-a-thon.

I’ve read a few chapters of Alex & Me.  It’s an endearing read so far, but I’m looking forward to learning more about the process of Dr. Pepperberg’s work.

I’m taking a break to watch last night’s Dollhouse with my husband and write this post.

So, here are the winners of my last give away:
Going Home: Jesus and Buddha as Brothers goes to Serena
The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio goes to A Bookshelf Monstrosity
The Memory Keeper’s Daughter goes to kathy m
Angelica goes to Mil
Into the Wild goes to Sheere

Um…I’m not going to e-mail anyone right now, because I need to go back to reading.  So, if you pop by, yay for you!  Otherwise I’ll get your info tomorrow.

Oh, one more thing.  Sorry if you didn’t win any of these books.  BUT, if you are in my November Novella Challenge, you will get to enter to win a novella tomorrow.  So make sure to sign up!

Apollo is adorable! I have two cats and am a complete sucker for them. My male cat always curls up on my lap when I’m reading. Sometimes, it’s okay, sometimes it’s annoying.

Hope that your reading is going well!

Dollhouse? So are you an all-around Whedon fan or just Dollhouse fan? Cause me and the husband are big Whedon fan. I got him hooked on Buffy last year when we watched the boxed set together, and then Angel, and then Firefly. We’ll pretty much watch anything Whedon touches. And what a cute cat! :) I love tabbies!
