The FB Zombie Apocalypse Discussions: An Interlude

interludeIt’s quite likely that on Facebook, even if we are not talking about zombies, we end up talking about zombies.  Actually, I kind of blame Velvet for this one, because I first saw it on her blog, but hey, we can only blame so much.  In the end, what it comes down to, is that we are obsessed.  We are *this close* to stocking up on canned food.

I posted a link on Ian’s wall.  The following is our discussion.

J.T.:  Ian, how are you? / Dissertation getting long? / How about a haiku?

http://dissertationhaiku.wordpress.com/      August 25 at 2:09 PM

J.T.: That last line should have been “How ’bout a haiku?”    August 25 at 2:15 PM
Lindsey: Ian, dear, you ought
To hop on board the wagon
                    Write us a haiku

Do it.  Cuz I’m worst haiku writer ever.  August 25 at 2:51 PM
J.T.: So far all we know
          About Central Asian folks
Comes from vodka and Borat    August 25 at 2:55 PM
Ian: Digging through ages of

Political mythmaking
I’m immune, of course     August 25 at 6:39 PM
J.T.: WRONG.  Try again.  your first line has six syllables.
August 25 at 6:40 PM
Ian: Fuck it’s early.  Also, I blame my right hand.

           Digging through TONS of
          Political mythmaking
I’m immune, of course.    August 25 at 6:56 PM
J.T.:  I got a really long spam in cyrillic and I tried to post it to your wall but it was too long and then I got lazy. I am just going to assume that it is about making money fast or shemale porn, as that is what all my spam in English is about.   August 25 at 6:57 PM
Lindsey:
It’s a Shemale.

J.T.: once I said something about it on Twitter and they all started following me. August 25 at 7:18 PM
J.T.: So, I didn’t get that before, but as it happens I was watching Arrested Development tonight and now I get it. August 25 at 9:16 PM
J.T.:
as it happens, I just found out about a book about zombie haikus.

Lindsey: I love you, J.T.  August 26 at 5:51 PM
J.T.: I love you, too, Lindsey August 26 at 6:35 PM
Ian: Brains brains brains brains brains

I had a friend post a VERY similar zombie haiku (brains x17) on my facebook wall as well. Zombie + haiku = very potent formula. Fun post!
