N&K Give Away!
Academy Chicago Publishers have offered to send a copy of Nibble and Kuhn by David Schmahmann to one of you!

Nibble & Kuhn is a ridiculous name for a law firm (so say it’s employees–when the partners aren’t in earshot). Tell me a product or company with a silly name. I’ll go first: I keep hearing this laxative tea advertised on NPR called “Smooth Move”. It cracks me up every time.

The hair removal product called “nads” cracks me up every time. I can’t believe they’re still in business. I’ve never had to buy ‘nads for myself. :p
Chuy’s Tex Mex Restaurant (pronounced Chew-ease) I think is not bad but funny!
When I hear the commercial on the radio for hand cream called “Udder Cream” I think of a cow and start laughing at the idea of a cow’s udders needing lotion

There was a small cafe up north called “The Roadkill Cafe”. Geez, I wonder why it went out of business. Everytime we drove by we both said, euwwwwwww, who would eat there?

I can’t think of any product with a silly name. The names listed by other people are pretty good.
None come to mind at this particular moment. When I submit, I know I’ll think of a whole bunch.

We have a dog groomer in town whose name is “Dirty Hairy’s”
I thing “Bag Balm” is a pretty ridiculous name for a product. It’s a protective ointment to prevent chapped hands.
