Give Away: Possible Futures

frontJust because I didn’t care for Possible Futures, doesn’t mean that you won’t.

I have two copies of this book to give away (one has been ever-so gently read by me).

This give away is INTERNATIONAL and will go until Saturday November 14, 2009 at 11:59 PM PST.  The winners will be announced the next day.

To enter, leave me a comment telling me about an interesting or thought-provoking or silly or annoying advertisement you have seen recently.

In other news, I’m going to extend my give away for The Turn of The Screw which is open to participants of the November Novella Challenge, because I never *really* told the participants about it.  oops.

Good Luck!

I’d like to give it a try!

I’ve been seeing lots of billboards just saying “Unfulfilled?” on them lately – with unfulfilled.org in smaller print towards the bottom. They’ve been bugging me – since I had no idea what they were for. Turns out to be for a ministry, which I guess I should have guessed…

I keep being plagued by adverts, on email and Twitter, about teeth whitening, those that tout the ’single mum’s discovery of how to…etcetc’ I’m just no sure why single mums should be more, or less, desirous of having their teeth white!

Umm I follow you on Twitter and I’ll tweet it :o ) aight ;o)

I think of all those Italian adverts with the word “eco-chich”…

We have horrible advertisements which show women in different stages of undress and advertising stuff from books to cars to garage equipment. No connection whatsoever.

Please count me in for the giveaway.

Lip plumper ads drive me nuts. After decades of poking fun at a race noted for full lips, all of a sudden a bunch of rocket scientists decides they can hornswoggle gullible white women into fat lips. go figure.
