FIVE Days of BBAW Give Aways

bbaw-button2009Remember that one time that I said that if you didn’t win my last give away just wait because I have lotsa stuff for BBAW?  Well, the linky page is up on the BBAW site, which means that even though BBAW doesn’t start until Monday, I can lure you with prizes NOW.

And I have FIVE packs of prizes–one to give away every day.

Prize Pack #1 has:IMG_0102

  • 1 READ Seattle Library sticker
  • 1 Seattle Library pencil
  • 1 reading is sexy sticker
  • 4 bookmarks

Prize Pack #2 has:IMG_0105

  • 1 READ Seattle Library sticker
  • 1 Seattle Library pencil
  • 1 reading is sexy sticker
  • 4 bookmarks
  • 1 re-use recycled blank notebook
  • 1 tin of Shakespeare mints

Prize Pack #3 has:IMG_0106

  • 1 READ Seattle Library sticker
  • 1 Seattle Library pencil
  • 1 reading is sexy sticker
  • 4 bookmarks
  • 1 re-use recycled blank notebook
  • 1 tin of Shakespeare mints

Prize Pack #4 has:IMG_0107

  • 1 READ Seattle Library sticker
  • 1 Seattle Library pencil
  • 1 reading is sexy sticker
  • 4 bookmarks
  • 1 re-use recycled blank notebook
  • 1 tin of Shakespeare mints
  • 1 sheet of Smart Women mark their words name plate stickers
  • 1 Scrabble X tile pin (which I chose for it’s high point value)

And finally, Prize Pack #5 has:IMG_0113

  • 1 READ Seattle Library sticker
  • 1 Seattle Library pencil
  • 1 reading is sexy sticker
  • 4 bookmarks
  • 1 re-use recycled blank notebook
  • 1 tin of Shakespeare mints

What’s even cooler is that with exception of the bookmark, everything was bought at the Seattle Public Library gift shop, so all proceeds of my purchase benefits the library!

I know that you can’t see everything in the pictures that well, so here are a few close-ups of some of the things included:

Now that I’ve dazzled you with my true Library Loot, you probably want to know how to win and all that.

First things first.  One random prize pack will be given away each day to a random entrant.

This is an INTERNATIONAL contest! I deliberately chose flat things to try to save on shipping costs.

To enter, tell me which thing in prize packs is the coolest to you.  It doesn’t necessarily mean that you will get a prize pack with that in it, but I’m curious.

For extra entries you can:

  • Follow me with whatever you use to follow blogs (+1)
  • Follow me on Twitter (@bibliofreakblog) (+1)
  • Tweet about this (+1)
  • Put this and/or any other of my posts on Reddit, Stumbleupon, or Digg (+1)
  • Blog about this give away(+3)

And remember, you do NOT have to be a blogger to win just because this is for BBAW.  You do have to like books though, but I’m sure you wouldn’t enter if you didn’t.

I will announce the winner sometime during the day on each day of BBAW.

What a fun give away! I LOVE our library’s gift shop. And I feel (almost) guilt-free after shopping there, since it benefits the library. I’ve been staring at your photos trying to pick one thing to say is my favorite. I’ll say the coasters. I have a bizarre attraction to coasters. They just keep multiplying here and yet I always want more.

Um pretty sure anything that has the “Reading is Sexy” bookmark is a great package. I’d say #5 for the book club thingy, but let’s get real–probably wouldn’t actually use it. :P

Would you hate if I totally copied your idea? Now, that’s assuming I can find the time to gather goodies and then take the pictures and write the posts and get around to getting my crap together–but a girl could dream, huh?

Oh, I subscribe and follow you on twitter. If I can get my crap together (see above), I’ll try to remember to tweet or blog about it. I’ve been very non-bloggy lately.

So, Cara can’t seem to comment on this post, so she e-mailed me and said:

I’m trying to post a comment for your BBAW Give-away. It won’t seem to post. Here’s the comment:

+1 the coasters and the insult pins, unfortunately I’ll regift the earrings.
+1 I’m now following you on google reader
+3 I just now decided to do a BBAW giveaway, so when I put mine up tomorrow, I’ll post about yours too.

Too bad I don’t have a Twitter account.

PS If I actually used bookmarks instead of loosing them, the “Reading is Sexy” bookmark would be right at the top of my list.

If this happens to anyone else, please e-mail me at j.t.oldfield[at]gmail.com to enter.

I think the book club organizer is fantastic! I’m always looking for a good notebook in which to organize my notes for my books read for bookclub (or else I’ll never remember the book by the time we discuss it!). As well, our book club is always looking for a book in which to organize the books we’ve discussed as well as titles of book suggestions for future meetings.

    Very cool giveaway!

The coolest thing to me (don’t laugh) is the pencil. I collect those – I’ve got pencils from science museums, from the CDC, from Niagara Falls, from Disneyland. So a Seattle Library pencil would be a good addition to the collection.

Mints are nice too, but I like the pencil. Please enter me into the giveaway!

Awesome prizes! I love Seattle, even though I don’t live by there anymore. My favorite thing in the prize pack is probably the Shakesperian insult pins or the notebooks. The pins because I think it would be funny when people realized what they said, and I love reading Shakespeare’s plays; the notebook because I adore notebooks and such :D
