I worked at a pediatric hospital for about three years, so childhood disease is particularly close to my heart. I worked mostly on the medical unit, so many of the kids I knew personally who passed away suffered from Cystic Fibrosis. But I occasionally floated up to the hem/onc unit, and we often had some of those patients on our floor when all of the beds up there were taken.
Goddamnit. Why do you people have to keep coming up with cool challenges?
So, remember that one time that I posted about what *might* be the last of the 2010 challenges I’d be signing up for, and then the next day posted about more challenges? Yeah, ’cause that’s right now.
I’m so excited that Jenners is going to host the Take Another Chance Challenge in 2010. I almost finished it this year (wrap-up post forthcoming) and I’m hoping that having 12 months will help me finish the whole thing this time.

Very soon, it will actually be 2010, and by then I’ll have stopped posting about all of these reading challenges. Until then, I’m going to try to post about them in clumps, in order to make it easier for you to skip over if you wish.
