I just Tweeted the magnificent, persevering, beautiful, dedicated, knowledgeable, special, strong Stephanie of Stephanie Written Word, to say, that, well, I always MEANT to sign up for the second annual Everything Austen Challenge, so even though *technically* you were supposed to sign up by the 15th, let’s just say that I did already, ok?
Yup. This is one of those posts about challenges. Somes that I’m starting, somes that have ended.
I’ve been meaning to post about a couple of challenges for a while now.
Trish from Trish’s Reading Nook is hosting a couple of challenges coming up, and since I already knew I’d be joining one, I decided I might as well join the other…I’m writing one post already, right?
Virginie, who is now calling herself by her for real name, Martina, but anyways is from She Read a Book, is hosting the next installment of her Four Month Challenge.

I worked at a pediatric hospital for about three years, so childhood disease is particularly close to my heart. I worked mostly on the medical unit, so many of the kids I knew personally who passed away suffered from Cystic Fibrosis. But I occasionally floated up to the hem/onc unit, and we often had some of those patients on our floor when all of the beds up there were taken.
Goddamnit. Why do you people have to keep coming up with cool challenges?
